Academics

Our specialized magnet programs provide unique learning environments for our students. The Center for Gifted Studies is an enriching full time gifted program, focusing on affective learning, critical and creative thinking, independent research, and supplemental Gifted curriculum. Advanced, integrated gifted curriculum will be used daily with the Florida Gifted Frameworks as the foundation to provide daily gifted services as well as social-emotional development. In addition to district curriculum & resources, the Center for Literacy Innovation teachers are highly trained experts in delivering customized reading interventions using a research-based program and strategies in whole group and small group settings. Students will have opportunities for remediation in reading, writing, and math. We believe that our students will actively lead their own path towards lifelong learning and responsible citizenship.
