Planning for Progress

Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

PTA Information

Welcome to the 202–2027 school year at Elisa Nelson Elementary!

My name is Liz Jones, and I’m excited to serve as your PTA president this year. My son, Jac, will be a 4th grader, and like many of you, I’m looking forward to a year filled with meaningful connection and fun, student-centered events.

As we build on the strong foundation set by past boards, our mission remains constant: to support and advocate for our students, families, teachers, and staff. With your help, we’ll continue traditions that make ENE special and expand programs that enrich every child’s experience.

This year, we’re planning to:

  • Host the Blazer Blizzard and Science Exploration Night
  • Provide classroom grants and support SEM clusters
  • Organize the PTA Angel Tree to support Richard L. Sanders School
  • Restock the FEAST Food Pantry with a schoolwide food drive
  • Support beloved events like Tea for Two (formerly Grandparents Day), Spooky Story Night, Field Day, and more
  • Celebrate our staff all year, with special recognition during Staff Appreciation Week
  • Provide t-shirts for every student to wear on field trips and Field Day
  • Support campus-beautification projects

We invite you to become an active part of the Elisa Nelson Elementary PTA. Membership is the first step—every membership directly supports these programs. Volunteering is always welcome, but joining the PTA does not require a time commitment.

I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing community and look forward to meeting you on campus. Wishing everyone a fantastic school year!

Go Blazers!
