BBC Morning News
Blazer Broadcasting Company (BBC)
Each morning, students at Elisa Nelson Elementary have the chance to tune in to the Blazer Broadcasting Company News (BBC). This year’s team is made up of talented 4th graders who write scripts, update content, and handle the recording process. Through this experience, students learn professionalism, develop strong communication skills, and enjoy a creative, hands-on learning environment.
Starting next year, the BBC Morning News will be open to 4th graders. Current 3rd graders interested in joining can apply at the beginning of April. Team selections will take place in mid-April, with training sessions beginning in May to prepare for the upcoming school year.
